Meet The Staff

Aaron is the founding pastor of Reliance and lives life at about 90mph, moving between meeting with people, dreaming with God about what’s next, and studying the Word. He is passionate about helping people connect with God’s heart through worship, the Word, and prayer, and he is intensely committed to helping men experience that same depth of relationship with Jesus. Aaron and his wife, Kristy, have four kids.

With a background in counseling professionally, Amber joins individuals, couples, and families to help strengthen relationships from a biblical foundation.  Amber joined the Reliance staff in 2026 with our Marriage & Family Ministry. Amber and her husband, Brett, have three adult kids and three grandkids!

Angie directs the Reliance Mom's Day Out program, and loves to help people of any age connect with the truth of scripture. After serving as a teacher for a few years, Angie stepped into the MDO director role in 2026. Angie, her husband, Casey, and three kids have been a part of Reliance since 2017. 

Ashley directs the Reliance Preschool, and loves to see littles grow in their understanding of God's whole world. After serving as a teacher for several years, Ashley stepped into the Preschool Director role in 2025. Ashley and her husband Kyran have three kids.

Clint leads and shepherds Kingdom Culture, a weekly gathering of young adults, and oversees church finances. He loves to help people connect with the transforming power of Jesus, and the truth about Him in scripture. Clint grew up in the Reliance community, lived in Colorado and Texas for several years, and returned to join the Reliance staff in 2024. Clint and McKenzie have three kids. 

Jace is passionate about Jesus, His Word, and about bringing people together to worship Him wholeheartedly. Jace and his wife Aly are also active leaders within student ministry. After serving as a worship leader to the city and the region for several years, Jace joined the Reliance staff in 2026 to give leadership to our worship and creative arts ministries, and to share his love for a well-crafted spreadsheet. 

Jacob leads Reliance Student Ministries, and considers it a privilege to work with teenagers, helping them discover their identity, grow in their faith, and learn what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life. Jacob is passionate about investing in the next generation, creating spaces where students can encounter God and grow together. Jacob and his wife Jordan have 5 kids, and both grew up within the Reliance church family. Jacob has been a part of the Reliance staff since 2018.

Kim loves Jesus and His kingdom, and loves to help others follow and worship Him wholeheartedly. After serving as a worship director for many years, Kim joined the Reliance staff in 2025 and now leads our church-wide communications, and oversees several ministry teams, 'connecting the dots' so we're all mostly going in the same direction. Kim and her husband, Neil, have two grown kids. 

Liz loves the littles! Liz leads the team of people who care for and teach kids in the PreK and nursery areas of Kids Ministry. Liz has a gift for creating activities that help kids connect with the truth of scripture and discover how much Jesus loves them. Liz and her husband, Billy, have two adult children and are delighted to have gained a son-in-law along the way. Liz has been a part of the Reliance staff since 2023. 

Matt is one of the founding pastors of Reliance, and has led within the church family in many ways. Currently, Matt leads the 1211 Project, a non-profit that helps Reliance and other ministries share testimonies and stories of what God is doing all over the world. Matt and Darcy have two grown kids, a daughter-in-law, and a very active elementary-age son. 

Michaela loves Jesus, loves people, and is always ready to serve in whatever area God puts in front of her. She leads Reliance Cares, helping the Reliance Family care for the least of these and live out the call to be the hands and feet of Jesus. She also coordinates church wide events and serves on the communications team, helping keep everyone connected with all that’s happening at Reliance. Michaela joined the Reliance staff in 2022 and loves helping people find ways to get involved. Michaela and her husband, Justin, have four children and love being part of the Reliance Family.

Noah is passionate about helping people rest in the truth of their identity in Jesus, and loves to see people find Godly community. Noah joined staff in 2026 to give leadership in discipleship, connection, and equipping. He currently leads the Hospitality Team, and together with his wife, Lauren, leads the House Church Ministry. 

Rachel joined the Reliance staff in 2026, serving as our receptionist and bookeeper. She has stepped into this role part-time while also homeschooling her two daughters, which makes her the best multi-tasker on the team! Rachel and her husband Brian have three kids, their two daughters mentioned above, and an adult son. 

Ryan loves Jesus and is passionate about helping people follow and worship Him fully. Ryan has served in full-time ministry in several churches, and is one of the founding pastors of Reliance. In his current role, Ryan gives oversight to staff, leads missions and prayer ministries, and keeps us moving in the same direction together. Ryan and his wife, Brie, have six kids. 

Tony loves helping kids learn and experience the transforming power of Jesus through his Word and through prayer. After a career in the marketplace, Tony joined the Reliance staff to lead Kids Ministry in 2021. Tony and his wife Liz have seven kids, and are happy to have added a daughter-in-law to the crew. 

Tyler has a dual role at Reliance, which he took on in 2023. He gives leadership to the Freedom Ministry, along with Nancy Tanton. Tyler loves to help people find true freedom through Jesus from every weight and sin so they can run their race with endurance with their eyes fixed on Jesus. Tyler also is our facility manager, keeping things clean and in working order. Tyler and his wife Amanda have four kids.
