Welcome to Reliance
Sunday Mornings at Reliance
Our services are around 90 minutes, and include a time of worship through music, prayer, and teaching from the Bible.
Kids
During both service times on Sundays (9:00 and 11:00)...
kids birth to preK age meet in age-specific rooms.
Kindergarten - grade 5 meet in our Student Center.
There is a check-in process, so come a few minutes early! We take your kids' safety seriously, so parents/guardians will be issued an ID tag for each child, and these tags must be presented to pick-up your child.
Should your child need a parent during service, the tag number will be shown discreetly on screen in the worship center.
Students
On Sundays:
We welcome and encourage middle school and high school students to be a part of our main worship services!

Middle school students also can meet together around 9:40 am on 2nd & 4th Sundays in the Prayer Room.
All students (grade 7-12) meet on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for RSM (Reliance Student Ministry)
Other stuff
Wear whatever you would like! Be comfortable, and be yourself.

We have complimentary coffee from a local roaster in the lobby both services and often have fresh cookies. There is a water bottle refill station in Hallway B.

Get Connected
Every Sunday after service we have a brief time for anyone new to connect with some of our staff. This is informal and conversational and allows for anyone wanting to ask questions about how to get involved with the life of the church.

Glass Room in Lobby
For anyone wanting to have more understanding of the church and meet more of the staff, we offer a once per quarter class called Next Steps.
Baptism
Baptism is a public declaration that we have been made new in Christ. It represents that the old self is dead (buried as you are submerged in water) and raised to life in Christ (as you come back up out). We have baptisms 3-4 Sundays a month.
Interested in baptism? Go here.
Holy Communion
We participate in communion together the first Sunday of every month. We take it together during every intercessory prayer times in our prayer room, which take place 3 times a week.
Three Elements That Are Woven Into Everything We Do
Worship
We are made to worship God. Worship is a lifestyle, not a genre of music or singing songs to God (although that is part of it). Romans 12:1 tells us "to offer ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to the Lord. This is our spiritual act of worship." Worship is a daily surrender to the Lord. As a congregation we want to connect people to God through an authentic heart of worship; the body of Christ surrendering through obedience to the Lord!
Word
The Bible is to be believed, obeyed, and trusted in all matters of life. The Scriptures are revealed so we may know who God is and what He is like.
We open the Word of God together to learn, be encouraged, gain wisdom, be corrected and to discover God's heart and will.
Prayer
Prayer changes situations, relationships and people, even entire cultures.

Jesus said "My house shall be called a House of Prayer." (Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17, Isaiah 56:7) We believe this is an important part of being the body together. Therefore, we take time on a Sunday morning to pray together. During our service, we will often break into small groups (as awkward as that may sound, it is not so bad once you do it) to agree together in Jesus Name.
We want to do life together.
With such a wide range of families at Reliance, there is a place to belong for everyone... this includes you :)

We don't want to be a church where you come and go, and no one knows your name. Sunday mornings are a great time to connect, but we believe there is more to being the body of Christ than coming to a large gathering once a week. Our goal is that every person gets involved in a House Church, where personal connections with brothers and sisters in Christ can be formed, and we can encourage each other to confidently live out the things that the Lord is calling us to do.
